先進先出 FIFO

存貨
Loading
存貨時，堆高機將貨物放在貨架巷道導軌最前端，通過無線電遙控器操作的穿梭台車，可以承載棧板貨物在導軌上運行。
移動台車
Transferring
通常堆高機可將穿梭台車放置於不同巷道，多個巷道可以共用一部穿梭車。穿梭車的數量由巷道深度、貨物總量、出貨批量、出貨頻率等綜合因素決定。
取貨 Picking
取貨時穿梭台車將貨架深處的棧板移動至貨架最前端，用堆高機將棧板貨物從貨架上取下。
